2011 Songs of the Year

As the year closes, Chris and I have decided to compile multiple lists to compare and contrast the best and worst of the year.  Our first list, The Hottest Women (during the time we were growing up i.e. middle school) list, was received with mixed reviews.  So we thought that it would be fun to go against each other in a head to head battle over the top songs of 2011.  We are each putting up our own list and would like you to browse through and select the list you think is best.  You can also vote for which list you like in the comment box by writing either “cwsquires” or “stemack” below.  For those who do not know our taste tends to lean towards the hip-hop side when it comes to music.  However, I think our list will show our ever growing maturity and the fact that we hang out with a lot of white people.  Without further ado, here they are.  Tell us what you think.

 As Friday night approaches I thought it would be good to create a list of songs that people can get ready to.  You know take the showers, groom the hair (and the other hair), pick out the perfect outfit, and get the mind ready to hit the town smelling of axe body spray.  The tough thing with this list is one has to not make sure to put too many songs that a person may hear out in their go to Friday night club.  The list will include most songs that are older so here is my attempt, sorry to those who do not like hip hop:
